Our Horses
We give our horses the most natural and healthy environment possible. They have free access to the outdoors, with plenty of room to wander. They live together as a small herd and so have the normal, healthy social relationships that horses have in herds.
Charlotte

Charlotte is a Belgian mare, and she is in her early teens. I traveled far north into Canada to bring her home. She has a unique color and looks like she was dipped in chocolate. She has a quiet temperament mixed with a lot of sassiness! Charlotte has a beautiful pick-up-your-hoofs-high trot along with a swish of the tail.
Champ

Champ is 7 years old. He is the kind of horse that likes to be in your back pocket. He is absolutely stunning with his gold and black tones of liver chestnut and flaxen mane and tail. He is extremely friendly, acting like a 2000 lb golden retriever.
Charlie

Charlie is a registered Rocky Mountain gelding. His official name is Good Time Charlie Brown! He is 22 years old. Charlie also has a quiet temperament and likes to put everything in his mouth. He is my trail riding horse where I find those Zen moments. He also loves beer, like I do, and we love to share one at the end of a pleasant trail ride.
In honor to all my beloved horses that have passed onto greener pastures
Red, King, Champ, Paul, Burt and Rex
Thank you, thank you, thank you that you have been part of my journey.
My last team, Burt and Rex, worked together for 15 years and are buried next to each other here on the farm. A very special thanks to Burt and Rex, as our barn would not have been possible without the incredible amount of work they did in their lifetime, both pulling timber, and delighting visitors to the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont.
